| We loved staying here for all the reasons one would expect but for the price we paid they put us in a tiny claustrophobic room with no view and very dark. We were appalled! We simply made a call and expressed dissatisfaction and they moved us to a much better room. We were lucky though because the hotel was almost empty. That is what leads to my deep frustration. Why did we have to ask for a decent room? Shouldn't all the rooms be very very nice? And Secondly, if the hotel is almost empty why wouldnt they automatically give us a great room? That really confuses me. Aside from that we loved it. The brunch buffet there is spectacular, the limonadas are delicious and the main lobby is just stunning. |

| Great Hotel with wonderful rooms and surroundings. Staff was reasonably friendly and spoke some good English. We loved the pool on the roof top.
The big negative was that you have to pay everything extra (on top of the pricy rates): breakfast extra, internet access extra, even for the very small spa you have to pay a hefty entrance fee. Next time we try somewhere else. |

| Excelente Hotel, atencion 100% personalizada, habitaciones impecables. Mucha Paz, excelente desayunos, recomiendo visitar todas sus instalaciones, especialmente la capilla. Todos conocian nuestros nombres,nos llamaron unos failiares al hotel y no estabamos en la habitacion y nos llevaron el telefono al restaurante que colocan en la terraza del frente! especial para parejas! |

| Decir el mejor es decir mucho, pero teniendo en cuenta lo que da al precio que lo da, con un trato personalizado y sin caer en la estandarizacion de los servicios, con un personal excepcional, las habitaciones perfectamente acondicionadas, una piscina situada con vistas de privilegio tanto a la zona moderna (Bocagrande) como al centro histórico y una terraza en la plaza que le da nombre que ofrece comida costeña de la mejor. Poco más se puede pedir. |

| right at the tip of the old city, it's an amazing hotel. the breakfast buffet was spectacular, and eating near the hanging garden every morning was special. hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. rooftop pool had a great view and the mojitos were delicious.

| This is one of the 2 best properties in Cartagena, and has the best location right in the middle of the best part of the Old City. Yet it is quiet.
The property is well-maintained with very service-oriented staff. Breakfast (included) is excellent.
The bathrooms are extremely luxurious and the rooms are large and well-appointed.
The hotel is in a former cloister. The gym is in part of the chapel. Interesting experience.
I would recommend this hotel highly. |
